Career Exploration Counseling/Job Referrals

We provide career interest inventories, job referrals, local labor market information, in-demand occupations, career pathways, vocational evaluations, personality assessments, and person-centered planning. 

Work Readiness Training 

  Small class, group workshops provided training in person or online by trained, certified facilitators. The training consist of a combination of skill assessment, experiential learning models, and career counseling. We guide customers through the process of writing resumes, drafting cover letters, completing employment applications, interview techniques, and questions to ask during the interview.  This training is customizable based on individual needs. 

Counseling on Post-Secondary Education Opportunities

We advise the best academic options, course offerings, and financial aid counseling customer is allotted the best education resources to fit their individual needs. We review options for academic and occupational training needed to succeed in the workplace and provide resources for every customer.  We offer individual supports to ensure successful outcomes.

Job Coaching/Work Base

We provide on site and off site job coaching services to assist consumers to learn job
skills necessary to retain employment. We provide guidance and behavioral intervention as assigned. Perform job retention (follow-up) support services during and post-placement.

Responsible to set up and clean up the worksites. Act as a positive Role Model for employees, consumers, and customer in all aspects of professional performance.

Self-Advocacy

 We teach our customers effective communication to speak to specific needs, desires, and wants how to become more comfortable advocating for themselves as they become knowledgeable of self, legal rights, and responsibilities. Skills to provide an opportunity to have a voice in transition planning for their future, increased knowledge of themselves, allowing them to pursue things of importance. The experience to afford themselves the same opportunities as other students transitioning from high school      

Vocational Adjustment Training

  Work Readiness Services prepare participants to excel in their abilities to successfully obtain and maintain competitive integrated employment. YATS! assist with disability issues, interpersonal skills training, daily living skills, and issues that interfere with obtaining or maintaining employment to support customers in achieving work readiness. These services benefit customers who have never worked, have not worked for a long time, or have a sporadic work history, and it prepares customers for successful employment so that they can manage or address vocational impairments and be self-sufficient.
