ABOUT

Youth Accelerated Transition Services (YATS!) is a non-profit organization serving individuals ages 13-24 years old who need job skills/career options training, employment, and job placement assistance. Training is provided in small classroom settings to provide a more cohesive training. Our highly trained staff outlines a comprehensive assessment to help each customer address barriers and guide them toward self-sufficiency. Our personalized service offers a holistic approach because we recognize the individual and cater to their specific needs. YATS's emphasis is on full goal attainment, where individuals can gain a better connection with themselves, their support system, and their community.

We are a verified vendor for the Texas Workforce Commission and work directly with The Walgreens Redi Program and Direct Employers Association nationwide! We welcome the opportunity to assist their customers. Call or email today for more information!

WALGREENS REDI PROGRAM!!!!!

YATS IS PROUD TO BE A CERTIFIED TRAINER FOR THIS PROGRAM!!!

Here’s how REDI works
• REDI is a 3- to 4-week, in-store retail and customer service skills training program.

• Walgreens store managers train registered community agency job coaches.

• Agency job coaches train REDI externs on-site using Walgreens REDI curriculum.

• REDI training covers such Customer Service Associate (CSA) competencies as how to unload trucks, stock shelves, run a cash register, etc.

• Store managers evaluate once REDI training concludes.

• REDI program graduates are welcome to apply for positions with Walgreens.

• REDI graduates who do not obtain the 3.0 rating also may apply for open CSA roles and will need to complete the standard Hourly Selector assessment

• Those who graduate REDI and attain an evaluation score of 3.0 or higher:
*Earn a “recommended for hire” designation,

*Can bypass the standard Hourly Selector assessment if applying for CSA roles at Walgreens, and will be able to apply for CSA positions nationwide.

• Please remember that The REDI program participation provides an opportunity, not a job guarantee
